Halloween is right around the corner and it’s time to have some fun!  If you’re planning a Halloween party or just want to keep the kiddos busy with a fun Halloween gamer, you’re going to love this spooktacular Halloween Scattergories.

How to Play Halloween Scattergories

1. First, you’ll need to gather your supplies.  Everyone will need a game sheet and a pencil or pen.  You’ll also need a timer.
2. Set the timer.  I recommend 4-5 minutes for younger children and 2-3 minutes for older children and adults.
3. When the timer starts, players see how many categories they can fill up by thinking of answers that start with the letter shown at the top of the column.
4. When the time is up, all players stop writing. Players take turns calling out their answers. Any players that have duplicate answers for that category must cross it off. After all answers have been shared the player that has the most original answers WINS!
5. The player with the most answers wins the round. Players will score 1 point per answer unless they come up with an answer that has two words that start with that letter. For example, if the letter was ‘C’ and they wrote “Candy Corn” that would count for 2 points.
