I hope you’re taking some time to relax and spend time with all your favorite people.  We’re in Maryland visiting our family and I had to share one last Christmas recipe with you.  This totally just happened last night.  My dad made me the best drink EVER and I just had to share it with all of you.

It’s an Eggnog Float!

First of all, I LOVE eggnog but have you ever thought to add eggnog ice cream to eggnog?  If you haven’t, your missing out!  And, don’t forget the brandy.  Of course, this is totally optional but if you enjoy a nice alcoholic beverage, than I highly recommend adding the alcohol.  It’s delicious!

It’s a dessert and cocktail in one.

Spiked Eggnog Floats are the perfect holiday treat.  Combine eggnog with ice cream and brandy for a delicious Christmas cocktail.

Now this is what I’m talking about!  Bring on the booze and ice cream.

Eggnog Floats

Eggnog floats are the perfect Christmas treat.  Add a little brandy for a delicious winter cocktail or serve without for a tasty winter treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup eggnog
  • 1 scoop of eggnog ice cream (or vanilla ice cream)
  • 1.5 oz brandy
  • Nutmeg (garnish)

Instructions

  1. Add ice cream to glass.
  2. Pour brandy and eggnog over ice cream.
  3. Sprinkle with nutmeg
  4. Enjoy!

Notes

I recommend using a large glass and doubling this recipe:)
