  3. I cooked my pasta aldente and used pre cooked frozen chicken also kept a cup of cooking liquid added all together with sauce. baked. 400 for 30 n uncovered with breadcrumb topping for 10-15 min. Nextime i think id add more sauce. But it turned out excellent!

  4. This took FOREVER to cook, both the chicken and noodles! Had to add more water and turn the oven temp up to 450. It also turned out really bland. Liked the easiness of it but this took well over an hour to cook. Kept my guests waiting for too long.

  5. So i think it’s very important to mention that the order of the cheese and breadcrumbs is very important. I put the breadcrumbs on first and then the cheese on top and the breadcrumbs did not bake at all. Also the amount of water i out in was 3 cups because it said chicken and pasta should be covered. That was absolutely too much and I think only the amount of water to cover just the pasta would have been enough. Other than that it was good. Probably will not make again but if I do it will definitely be tweaked.

  6. I’ve made this once before and loved how easy it was.
Today I changed a couple of things and it went over Great. Today I marinated the cut up chicken in Italian Dressing and since we didn’t have mozzarella and didn’t feel like running to the store, I used Colby & Cheddar !! It still worked out perfectly!!

  12. Pasta wasn’t anywhere near cooked in the recommended cooking time. Had to add about 30 minutes to make sure it was done.

  13. I was so nervous when I put it in the oven THEN areas the comments. 😂 I did make a few tweaks – added 1/2 tsp salt, pepper, Italian seasoning and garlic powder before it went in the oven; used Italian bread crumbs because it’s all I had, used the full three cups of water; cooked it covered for 45 mins , uncovered for 10 and 10 once I added the topping in this order – mozzarella cheese, the breadcrumbs and park mixed together then added on top. I know everyone makes their own updates. It turned out PERFECT, melted and flavourful!!

  14. I suggest that you pre cook the chicken. I prepared this recipe per instructions
The chicken was raw I cooked an additional 30 minutes and it still was under cooked
My husband declined to eat it , and I just ate the pasta and cheese

  15. My mom loved this so much, she went back for seconds and thirds! I’m terrible at cooking but this recipe was super easy to follow and very straightforward. We added extra panko and mozzarella.

  16. Hi! I am excited to try this recipe! I have a question- for the topping, so you mix the mozzarella cheese, breadcrumbs, and Parmesan, or layer them as the recipe says? I’m unsure how the breadcrumbs will brown if they are buried under the cheese…

  17. I want to try chicken thighs next time. The chicken was a little dry. Otherwise it was really good and my husband loved it. I always use extra cheese.

  18. After reading the comments about the cooking time, I threw everything in my insta-pot for 15 minutes. Then broiled the cheese and breadcrumbs for just a minute and it turned out great!! Hubby added some red pepper flakes for a kick of added flavor.

  19. After reading the comments, I got nervous to prepare as instructed. So I cooked for 15 minutes in the instant pot and then transferred to a pan to bake with breadcrumbs and cheese. Turned out perfect.
