One Skillet Italian Sausage Pasta
This One Skillet Italian Sausage Pasta Recipe is a delicious one skillet meal that comes together in less than 30 minutes and only calls for 5 ingredients. Dinner doesn’t get any easier than this!
Ingredients
- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 1 1/4 cups water
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) Diced Tomatoes with Basil, Garlic and Oregano, undrained
- 1 can (15 ounces) Tomato Sauce
- 1 1/2 cups dry penne pasta, uncooked
- Garnish with Parmesan cheese and fresh basil (optional)
Instructions
- Heat large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sausage and cook for 5 minutes. Break sausage apart with a spoon to crumble. Drain and return to skillet.
- Add water, undrained tomatoes, tomato sauce and pasta to skillet. Stir to combine.
- Bring to a boil. Cover skillet and reduce heat. Cook for 15 minutes or until pasta is tender.
- Serve with Parmesan cheese and basil.
