Is it just me or are Christmas bags expensive. I was trying to find small gift bags for an ornament exchange party and I couldn’t find any for less than $2 a bag. So, I did what every crafty girl does – I made my own.
These Reindeer Gift Bags are easy to make and I was able to make 8 gift bags for under $7. That’s less than $1 a bag. You can’t beat that!
Want to make your own Reindeer Gift Bags?
Here’s what you’ll need:
-
- Small Brown Gift Bags (These would work also) – Bags measure: 5 in.(H) x 4 in.(W) x 2 in.(D)
- Red Pom Poms
- Googly Eyes
- Candy Canes
- Glue Dots or Glue Gun with Glue Sticks
Now, just adhere two googly eyes and one red pom pom to the center of the gift bag. Add two candy canes to the inside of the gift bag and your gift bags are ready.
You don’t even have to wait for any glue to dry.
How easy was that? I told you this was a simple craft project.
I must admit that these are way cuter than any gift bag I’ve seen at the store. Plus, they are super festive and perfect for the holidays.
This would also be a fun craft for kids. As soon as Connor saw what I was doing, he quickly jumped in to make a few the gifts he’s giving to his grandparents.
