Candy Cane Reindeer Craft – Turn two candy filled candy canes into the cutest little reindeer with this fun tutorial.
I was looking for fun holiday treats to put in stockings and give as gifts this year and I kept coming across candy cane reindeer. I thought they were the cutest thing but my hubby is not a fan of candy canes.
Then I had an idea!
Make Candy Cane Reindeer using the plastic candy canes filled with candy!!
How cute is this little fellow?
I used plastic candy canes filled with Reese’s pieces since those are his favorite but you could use any of the ones they have. I found mine for $1.
Here’s what you need:
- 2 plastic candy canes filled with candy
- 1 toilet paper roll
- two wiggly eyes
- red yarn
- one jingle bell
- baker’s twine
- glue gun and glue sticks
- tape
Step 1: Tape two plastic candy canes together.
Step 2: Cut toilet paper roll and wrap around both candy canes. Tape or glue.
Step 3. Make a yarn pom pom. I used this tutorial by Dana Made It and just used my fingers.
Step 4: Glue eyes and yarn pom pom on using glue gun.
Step 5: Wrap baker’s twine around a few times. Add jingle bell and tie a bow.
Step 6: Now hold it out and admire your reindeer.
Isn’t he adorable? I am so happy with the way it turned out and now Connor wants to make them for all his friends at school.
I just love when projects are easy and come out the way I imagined it in my head!
Happy Holidays!!

Just made two of these in under 5 minutes. So easy and cute. I used a sparkly red Pom Pom because I had those on hand. Unfortunately they’re not as big and cute but they do the job. Also unused a pipe cleaner instead of twine also had it in hand.

I believe everything said was very logical.
However, what about this? suppose you wrote a catchier post title?
I ain’t suggesting yor cpntent is not good., but
what if you addred a post title to maybe grab folk’s attention? I mean candy cane reindeer
craft instructions is kinda vanilla. You ojght to look at
Yahoo’s home page and see how they create news titles to get people
to open the links. Youu might add a related video or
a related pic or two to get people excited about what you’ve written. In my opinion, itt
would make your posts a little livelier.
