Wish all your favorite people a happy birthday with this free birthday cut file. Make a felt wall banner, birthday cards, and so much more with this fun and free SVG cut file.
Birthdays are a big deal in our house. We don’t just celebrate the day we were born. We celebrate birthdays all week long! That means seven full days of birthday celebrations. And we all know you can’t have a birthday party without decorations! So, today I’m going to show you how easy it is to make this Birthday Felt Wall Banner using the free Birthday SVG cut file I’m sharing.
Materials needed to make a Birthday Felt Wall Banner
- Iron-on Vinyl – I used Holographic HTV that is AWESOME!!
- Cricut Maker or Cricut Explore Air 2
- Cutting Mat
- Cricut EasyPress or Iron
- Glue Gun
- Wooden Dowel
- Rope or Ribbon
Don’t be alarmed by this list of supplies. I’m sure you already have most of this stuff in your craft stash and if not, it’s just a fun excuse to head to your local craft store:)
Start by cutting the bottom of the felt into a V shape. The easiest way to do this is to just fold the felt in half and cut across.
Next, download the free cut file. Create a new Project in Cricut Design Space and upload the free cut file. Don’t forget to mirror the design before cutting.
Place iron-on vinyl onto your cutting mat – design side down – and let your Cricut work it’s magic.
Iron the design onto the felt banner. Wrap the top of the felt around the wooden dowel and glue in place. Add a piece of rope or ribbon to the ends of the wooden dowel and you’re ready to hang your new birthday banner.
Isn’t the holographic iron-on vinyl gorgeous? I’m in love with all the sparkle!
