Decorating gift bags has never been easier. Use your Cricut and favorite vinyl to make custom birthday gift bags in less than 15 minutes. A fun and easy birthday craft project – it doesn’t get better than that!
We all need gift bags for birthday gifts so today we’re making our very own birthday gift bags. Never buy those paper bags again because we’re going to use burlap gift bags that can be used over and over again. The possibilities are endless when it comes to this fun craft project. There are so many cute birthday cut files and this is such a quick project that you can whip up a few in no time.
Supplies needed to make Custom Birthday Gift Bags:
- Burlap or Canvas Gift Bags
- Cricut Explore Air 2 (or any vinyl cutter)
- Iron-on Vinyl – I used Holographic Sparkle Iron-on for this project
- Cricut Cutting Mat
- Cricut Weeder Tool
- Scissors
- Iron
- Tassels (optional)
Directions to make Custom Birthday Gift Bags:
Step 1:Â Download the free SVG Cut file and upload it to the Cricut Design Space or add your favorite birthday image like the cupcake.
Step 2: Place your iron-on vinyl shiny side down onto the cutting mat and load onto your Cricut.  Make sure you mirror your image. Let your handy dandy Cricut works it magic.
Step 3: Iron image to burlap bag and add tassel. I’m kind of obsessed with tassels but this is totally optional:)
That’s it! in 3 easy steps you have gorgeous birthday bags that can be used over and over again. They’re almost too pretty to give away.
