Make your own DIY vertical sign with this free Welcome to Our Home Porch Sign SVG.
I love how easy it is to make vertical porch signs with my Cricut. I’ve made a few Welcome signs for myself and friends and my sister-in-law requested a porch sign that said Welcome to Our Home so, of course, I had to make her one.
I created this cut file with extra space on the bottom to add your last name. I’m also sharing a different version if you don’t want to add your last name to the board. The second version has lines on the top and bottom. These cut files work best with boards that are 10 inches by 40 inches or 12 inches by 50 inches.
To download these freebies, just add your name and email in the form below and this FREE cut file collection will be delivered right to your inbox. Then, open your email and save the SVG file to your computer. It’s that easy!
Once the cut file is saved to your computer, it’s time to upload it to Cricut’s Design Space. If you have a Silhouette, you will upload them to Silhouette Studio. Next, add your vinyl to your cutting mat and let your machine work it’s magic. This part never gets old – does it? Don’t forget to mirror your image if you’re using iron-on vinyl.
How to Make a Vertical Porch Sign
Now that you have your SVG downloaded, let’s make a porch sign for your home. There are a few ways you can do this.
- Add adhesive vinyl to a long piece of wood.
- Apply iron-on vinyl to a wood sign
- Use stencil vinyl and your Cricut to create a stencil.
