This year’s advent calendar is all about helping others.  I created a Random Acts of Kindness Advent Calendar this to help all of us remember that Christmas isn’t just about receiving gifts.  We need to give to others too.  I originally shared this in 2016 but I’ve updated it with more RACKs and multiple printables.

I created this advent calendar to look more like a bingo sheet so we can pick one RACK a day instead of having to stick to an actual calendar.  I also made sure that every act of kindness is FREE or very inexpensive for young children.  I have no problem spending money to help others but I want to show our boys that random acts of kindness can be simple things and don’t always require you to purchase items.  We have so much to be thankful for and we need to help those around us. 

I placed our Random Acts of Kindness Advent Calendar on the refrigerator so we can cross things off every day.  I left three free spaces so Connor can pick his own RACK.

Ways to RACK this Christmas

• Print and Go – This is the easiest option. Just print and place to the refrigerator. Use a magnet or stickers to mark off each act of kindness completed.
• Print and Laminate – Laminate the advent calendar and use a dry erase marker to mark off each RACK. This will allow you to use this printable year after year.
• Add the printable to a picture frame and mark off each RACK using a dry erase marker. Then just wipe the glass clean and save the framed advent calendar for next year.
