How to Play Guess the Monster

If you aren’t familiar with the game Guess Who, the object of the game is to guess the monster on your opponent’s card. To play this game you will need the free game sheets, monster cards, and game markers. Game markers can be small objects like buttons, m&ms, jelly beans, etc. Game sheets can also be laminated and a dry erase marker can be used.

First, print three copies of the game card that you want to use.  Cut out the monsters from one game card and place them all face down on table. Each player chooses one monster card from the pile and keeps it face down in front of them or hidden in their hand.

Players take turns asking yes or no questions to figure out which monster the other player has on their card. Example questions: Does your monster of one eye? Is your monster red? Does your monster have hair? To eliminate a monster, place a game marker over that monster.  Keep taking turns asking questions until someone thinks they can guess the other player’s monster. To win this game, the first player to guess their opponent’s monster wins the game.
