Looking for a fun way to package your gifts this holiday season? Why not use a can and some Duck Tape!
Everyone’s heard that Duck Tape fixes everything and today I’m sharing how you can repurpose a can into a festive gift package using Duck Brand® Holiday designs tape.
- Duck Brand® Holiday Designs tape
- cans with pop up lids
- double-sided tape
- holiday stickers (optional)
- can opener
- glue gun and glue sticks
Step 1: Open the cans using a safe cut can opener. Clean can with soap and water.
Step 2: Wrap can with Duck Brand® Holiday tape. Wrap one layer at the bottom of the can and repeat along top of can. This will leave a small part of the can exposed along the middle of the can.
Step 3: Using double-sided tape, wrap ribbon around center of can.
Step 4: Add a sticker or label to the front of the can. This step is optional because it looks great without this. I just found these cute sticker and decided to add them.
Step 5: Fill can with candy and small gifts. I added Hershey kisses and a Target gift card.
Step 6: Using a glue gun, glue lid back on to the can. This needs to be done fast. You can use super glue but I didn’t have any.
Step 7: Add a bow to the tab on top using ribbon.
That’s it! Aren’t they cute? I’m sure that anyone who receives a gift in a can is going to be very impressed. I made these for Connor’s teachers and his bus driver. Connor is so excited about his teacher gifts. He can’t wait to see if they can figure out how to open them.
Don’t you just love cute ways to wrap gifts? I know I do! And I’m in love with the Duck Brand® Holiday designs.
Duck the Halls this holiday with the Duck Brand® Holiday designs tape and pin it to Pinterest using the #DuckTheHalls hashtag.
