I’ve loved the adult coloring books since they came out but I was always reluctant to buy them because I didn’t want to spend hours coloring something to just put it away.

Well, I’ve found the perfect solution to that!

Color Your Own Insulated Tumblers

Today I’m sharing these colorful insulated tumblers I made using extreme coloring pages I colored.  I’m not really sure this is much of a tutorial but it’s a fun DIY project that anyone can do.

Materials needed:

  • Color your own insulated cups
  • Extreme coloring book
  • colored pencils
  • scissors

Directions:

  1. Color your favorite page.
  2. Remove the lid and insert from the insulated tumbler.  Trace the template onto your coloring page and cut out insert.
  3. Place your coloring page inside the tumbler and put back together.

That’s it! Now you can sit back and admire your beautiful artwork instead of just putting the book away in a drawer or on your bookshelf.

And, do you know what tastes great inside your beautiful Color Your Own Insulated Tumblers?

Dunkin Donuts® Bakery Series® Caramel Coffee Cake.  All I can say is – “OH MY GOODNESS!” Not only does this coffee smell fabulous but it tastes amazing!!  Not only is this is my new favorite coffee to drink but I could just open the bag and smell it all day long.  My house smells so good every morning.  My neighbors walk in and immediately ask what kind of coffee I’m drinking.  And, we all know you can’t drink coffee without a fabulous coffee creamer.  I’m totally hooked on Dunkin’ Donuts® Extra Extra Coffee Creamer.  It’s been my go-to coffee creamer for years now.

I picked up my Dunkin Donuts® Coffee and Dunkin’ Donuts® Coffee Creamer the other day at Harris Teeter.  They have the best salad bar and they give out samples so shopping with Easton is much easier:)

YUM!  Now I just want to relax with my coloring book and drink coffee all day.

Wait – I have more.  Even Connor wanted to get in on the fun.  He saw me coloring and said he wanted to make me a mug.  We picked up an activity mug and now he’s slowly working on coloring a mug for me.  He isn’t finished yet but I wanted to show you how cute this is.  He’s so excited to make me a mug that I can use every day while I drink my morning coffee.

Then I realized, this would make an awesome gift to give this holiday season.  Pick up a pack of colored pencils, a coloring book, and a color your own travel tumbler or mug and wrap it up.  It’s the perfect gift for older kids.

Now I need to know – have you tried the Dunkin Donuts® Bakery Series® coffee yet?  If not, you’re missing out!

  1. What a great gift idea… and a great overall craft to keep the kids busy during school break this winter. I actually love adult coloring books, but I agree… you kind of go to all the trouble and then they are stuck in a book somewhere. #client
