We like to serve it as a dipping sauce when we’re having friends and family over because it’s so easy to make. Just grab a bag of Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips while grocery shopping at Publix and whip up a bowl of bang bang sauce for a quick and easy appetizer. I also make sure to keep a bag of these crispy chicken strips in my freezer at all times for busy weeknights.

What is Bang Bang Sauce?

Bang Bang Sauce is a creamy sauce that is both sweet and spicy. The sweetness comes from the chili sauce and the spiciness comes from the hot sauce. We like to use Sriracha but feel free to use your favorite hot sauce. The best thing about this sauce is that it tastes great with everything. You can drizzle the sauce over meat, seafood, or vegetables or serve it as a dipping sauce with Tyson Crispy Chicken Strips and Tyson Chicken Nuggets. We prefer to serve it on the side because our kiddos don’t always want sauce on their food.

How to make Bang Bang Sauce

  • 1/4 cup Sweet Chili Sauce
  • 12 teaspoons hot sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon honey


  1. Whisk mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, hot sauce, and honey together in small bowl until well combined.
  2. Keep in an air-tight container and refrigerate until ready to serve.

  1. Great recipe. However, I had to turn the heat up a bit with a small amount of Cayenne pepper.
