If you’re looking for a fun way to welcome your new students this school year, you’re going to love these back to school mazes. Not only is it a fun activity for students but it’s also special note welcoming them to your class this year. Place the mazes on every desk on the 1st day of school and let your students know that they’re going to have an A-MAZE-ING school year.
These fun maze back to school notes are also great for back to school night, meet the teacher, and your school’s open house. I like to pair them with a new pencil when giving them out to my students but that’s totally optional.
And, guess what? I’m making them super easy for everyone to hand out to all their students this school year. Simply print and cut. That’s it! They can be printed on colored paper or white cardstock. Either way, you’re students will be excited to start the new school year with you.

Tips for Printing Printables So They Always Look Fantastic!
After downloading and saving the free printable, it’s time to print our printable. Here are a few tips you can use to help your printouts look their best.
Invest in a good printer – I have an Epson Expression Home XP-4100 Wireless Color Printer that I currently use to print my printables and I’m very happy with it.
Choose the right paper – The best way to print printables is on white cardstock. When I’ve tried to print on regular printer paper I found that the ink causes the paper to wrinkle a little especially if the printable requires a lot of ink.
Use a paper trimmer – I recommend using a paper trimmer to cut out these cute little gift tags. It makes it so much easier to cut everything straight.
Use a professional printing service – I also recommend using a professional printing service to get the best quality. I go to Office Depot or Staples a lot to print my printables. I’ve also used Shutterfly and Walgreens to print large printables. Most printables use a lot of ink so it may even save you money to get them professionally printed.
