5 Ingredient Slow Cooker Cranberry Chicken
When I started blogging over twelve years ago, my goal was to share easy and inexpensive craft projects. Along the way I’ve shared my favorite recipes that are also quick and easy to make. I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not a fancy cook and I’m all about recipes that I can just dump and bake that’s why I LOVE this Slow Cooker Cranberry Chicken recipe.
This recipe might just be one of the easiest recipes I’ve shared. There is no prep work required and nothing needs to be cooked ahead of time. Just add the 5 ingredients to the slow cooker and let it do all the work for you. An easy slow cooker recipe that the entire family will love!
Ingredients Needed to Make Slow Cooker Cranberry Chicken
Chicken – I make this recipe with boneless chicken breasts but boneless chicken thighs would work also. You can even make it with pork instead of chicken.
Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce – Make sure that you buy the whole berry cranberry sauce and not the jellied cranberry sauce.
Onion Soup Mix – adds all the spices you need.
Carrots and Potatoes – Makes this a one pot meal.
How to Make this Easy Slow Cooker Meal
I’m not sure I should really call this a recipe because all you have to do is add the ingredients to the slow cooker and let it cook. I don’t even mix anything ahead of time. I really just add the chicken to the slow cooker. Then I dump the cranberry sauce on top and sprinkle the onion soup mix over cranberry sauce. Next, I add the carrots and potatoes. Then, I just place the lid on the slow cooker and walk away.
I’m pretty sure you can’t mess this recipe up and it’s the perfect recipe for busy weeknights. It’s also a great recipe for weekends when you don’t want to spend too much time in the kitchen cooking.

I’m going to give this a try but due to my husband’s dietary restrictions, I’ll have to use the jellied sauce. I’d think you’d get the same flavor.
