One of my favorite things about summer is sitting outside in the evenings with all our neighbors while all the kids play. And, when it starts to get dark and cool down we bring out the fire pit and make s’mores. I have to tell you all that I love s’mores and I could eat them every night for dessert.
Since we are always making s’mores, I thought it would be fun to put together a little tray full of the essentials. The other night I even added strawberries and bananas and it was a huge hit with all of the neighbors.
I also created a cute printable to go with the tray full. This is the perfect printable to display the next time you make s’mores. Download HERE.
And, you know what I love the most of making s’mores? You can make them in less than 10 minutes. All you need to do is gather the essentials – Honey Maid Graham Crackers, Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bars, and Kraft’s Jet Puffed Marshmallows – the next time you are grocery shopping. I always pick them up at my local Walmart because that is where I find the best deals on all the ingredients.
So let’s make s’mores together!
Step 1:Â Gather your supplies and prepare your tray full of everything you need – graham crackers, chocolate bars, marshmallows and fruit.
Step 2: Place one graham cracker square on a plate. Add banana slices, strawberry slices, and two chocolate pieces on the graham cracker.
Step 3: Roast your marshmallow over the fire. And no worries if you don’t have a fire pit. You can use your grill, oven and even your microwave.
Step 4:Â Add marshmallow to chocolate and top it off with another graham cracker square
Yum! Enjoy your s’mores and don’t be embarrassed to lick your fingers:)
Oh I forgot to mention one more thing. I’m pretty sure it’s impossible to eat just one.
Such a fun idea!
S’mores parties were something I always looked forward to as a kid.
I would LOVE to go to a s’mores party! Yummm!
