A Vanilla Rose Sugar Scrub recipe that smells amazing and leaves your skin feeling silky smooth.
Oh my goodness ya’ll! This Homemade Vanilla Rose Sugar Scrub smells amazing and leaves my hands feeling so smooth. And guess what? You only need 5 ingredients: sugar, oil, vanilla extract, rose oil, and dried rose petals. You can really use any essential oil to make a sugar scrub but I love the smell of roses. Plus, I had a ton of dried rose petals leftover from when I made my rose bath bombs so I wanted to use them up.
I love how easy all sugar scrub recipes are to make. Everyone deserves to pamper themselves with a little sugar scrub and they make great gifts. I made this one for my mom but I also had to keep a jar for myself.
Supplies:
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/3 cup oil (coconut, olive, almond)
- 1 teaspoon clear vanilla extract
- 5-8 drops rose essential oil
- dried rose petals
- mason jars
- large bowl
- spoon for mixing
Directions:
Step 1: Add sugar to bowl. Add oil and mix well.
Step 2: Add vanilla and rose oil. Continue to mix ingredients together.
Step 3: Add 2-3 handfulls of dried rose petals to sugar mixture. Mix into sugar mixture.
Step 4:Â Scoop sugar scrub into mason jars.
A simple homemade sugar scrub that takes less than 10 minutes to make. There is no need to ever buy sugar scrub when they are this easy to make. Keep a jar by your sink to use after you wash your hands. You can even use it to exfoliate your skin while in the shower. Just make sure to use a plastic container for that. Trust me, your skin will feel silky-smooth!
I also made a cute little label for this Vanilla Rose Sugar Scrub because every jar needs a pretty label.
