Well, it’s official! I’m the queen of procrastination!!
I’ve been working on my Halloween Burlap Banner for a week now and it’s finally finished. Nothing like waiting until the week of Halloween.
I’ve also decided that I love making burlap banners! I’m pretty sure I’m going to need one for every holiday.
So, would you like to make a one for yourself?
All you need is some burlap, paint, paint brushes,  stencils, and jute. You will also need your handy dandy glue gun but when don’t you need that thing?!
Step 1:Â Cut out your burlap pennants using this template.
Step 2: Paint your pennants. I painted most of mine white except for two. Those were painted black and orange.
Step 3: Use the stencils to paint each pennant. I also used painters tape to paint large stripes on two of the pennants.
Step 4: Once the paint dries, use your glue gun to glue each pennant to the jute. I fold each pennant over the jute to attach the jute to the burlap pennant.
Step 5:Â Hang and admire your lovely banner.
I can’t wait to make one for Christmas. I think I might use the same stencils but use green and red paint.

Bring on the stencils! This would be fun for a classroom – each kid could decorate his or her own burlap “flag”

Hi Kara! I just dropped by to say thank you because of this halloween burlap banner. I tried it at home after reading it here last day. Thanks for the inspiration.
