My son loves two things right now – he loves dinosaurs and he loves to color so I thought it would be fun to create a dinosaur activity that includes both. Color the image using the color code provided and reveal a cute dinosaur picture.

Dinosaur Roll and Color

This Dinosaur Roll and Color Activity includes 6 free printables. There are 3 different hidden dinosaur images and two ways to color each design. Each coloring page can be played with one die or two dice depending on the age of the child and how they want to complete the roll and color activity.

There are few different ways to complete the Dinosaur Roll and Color.

Without Dice – This is for younger kids just learning how to count or if you don’t have any dice available. Just simply count the dots on the dice shown on the paper and color the number blocks with the color given.

With One Die – Roll the die and match the number rolled to the color shown in the key. Color one or wo blocks at a time until the picture is fully colored. This is a great math activity for young children or just a fun way to color a picture.

Two Dice – Use the higher number activity sheet to complete with two dice. Roll the dice and add the dots together. Use the key to color the picture.

Make it a Game – You know we love games! And this activity can easily be turned into a game for home or the classroom. Hand out the coloring pages to each player. Players take turns rolling the dice and coloring a block that matches the number they rolled. The first person to color their picture is the winner. To speed the game up, players can color 2 blocks with each roll.
