Bring on the sugar rush!
Today is Connor’s birthday and I surprised him this morning with birthday cake waffles.
I can’t believe he is five! I just want him to stay my little boy forever!!
Birthday Cake Waffles:
- 1 cup Bisquick (I use the heart healthy Bisquick)
- 1 cup cake mix
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons oil
- Rainbow sprinkles
Mix ingredients until blended. Pour batter onto lightly greased waffle iron. Bake 4-5 minutes.
I also made a glaze to drizzle over the waffles by mixing 1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar and 3 teaspoons milk.
A fun birthday treat and tradition that everyone can enjoy! What birthday traditions do you have?
Happy 5th Birthday Connor!!
