Slow Cooker Chicken French Dip Sandwiches

Tender, juicy chicken slow-cooked to perfection, served on toasted rolls topped with melty cheese, and dipped in a savory au jus. These Slow Cooker Chicken French Dip Sandwiches are an easy, flavorful dinner the whole family will love!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 cups chicken stock
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 1 envelope au jus mix
  • Sub Rolls
  • Provolone cheese

Instructions

  • Add chicken and onion to your slow cooker.
  • In a small bowl combine garlic, chicken stock, worcestershire sauce and onion soup mix. Pour the mixture over the chicken. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6 hours.
  • Once the chicken is cooked through and tender, dump out most of the liquid in the slow cooker. Shred the chicken.
  • Add slices of cheese to the sub rolls and using the broiler, melt the chese and toast the sub rolls.
  • Pile the sub rolls with the shredded chicken.
  • Make the au jus according to the package directions.
  • Serve the sandwiches with a side of au jus and enjoy!
