Chocolate Bars
- 4 packs unsweetened chocolate 4 ounces
- 2 sticks of butter
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp. peppermint
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Mint Frosting:
- 6 tablespoons melted butter
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 2 teaspoons mint extract
- green food coloring
- Chocolate sprinkles
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9x13 pan or line with parchment paper.
Melt chocolate and butter together in sauce pan over low-medium heat. Set a side to cool.
In a medium bowl, beat eggs until frothy. Stir in sugar and chocolate mixture. Add mint extract, flour and salt. Stir to combine.
Pour into 9x13 baking pan and bake for 25 minutes. Once done, let cool before adding frosting.
To Make Frosting
Combine melted butter, powdered sugar, milk, mint extract, and green food coloring in medium bowl. Use a hand mixer to beat ingredients together until smooth.
Spread over bars immediately. Frosting will harden quickly.
Sprinkle chocolate sprinkles over frosting.
