Emoji Magnets 3

Back to school is almost here for us and I know for many of you, the kids are already back in school.  I decided that it would be fun for Connor to invite his friends over for one last craft party before summer ends.

And when I say craft party, I mean pizza and quick craft that’s done in 20 minutes.  It’s a fun excuse to get the girls together while the kids entertain each other.

Ellios Pizza

I had ordered these awesome emoji stickers for Connor a few months ago and knew exactly what the kids could make.

I popped some Ellio’s Pizza in the oven and set out everything they would need to make emoji magnets.  These will be perfect for hanging school work, school announcements and other important documents on our refrigerator throughout the school year.  They are awesome for lockers too if your child is older.

Here’s what you need to make your own emoji magnets:

  • 1.5 inch wooden discs
  • yellow paint
  • emoji stickers (or draw your own faces)
  • magnets

Directions:

  • Paint wooden discs using yellow paint.
  • Once the paint dries, stick the emoji sticker on the disc.
  • Flip over and adhere magnet.

That’s it!  How easy is that? Gotta love a fun and easy craft for the kiddos.

Note: My stickers were the exact same size as the wooden discs.  And guess what?  My box came with 1,000 emoji stickers.  I wonder what else we can make with them?

Ellio's Pizza 2

Once the crafting concluded, we were ready for our Ellio’s Pizza.  Just LOOK at this deliciousness!  The kids scarfed this down and I have to admit, I had a few slices too.  I’ve stocked up on Ellio’s Pizza as we head back to school because it’s the perfect quick afternoon snack.  I love the thin, crunchy crust and the fresh-tasting ingredients. I also love that they use only 100% real cheese and no artificial flavors – makes me feel good about serving this up to the whole clan.  Last year Connor ate lunch at 11:00 so he was ready to eat everything in the refrigerator when he got home from school.

But guess what?  This year I’ll be prepared with Ellio’s Pizza!  And, since these pies only take 11 minutes to bake, they’re the perfect prelude to homework time.

Homework and pizza – does it get any better than that?!
