Pumpkin Spice Latte

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1-2 tablespoon pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 cup strong coffee

Instructions

  • Whisk together the milk, sugar, and pumpkin puree in a medium saucepan. Heat over medium-low heat until it is hot and almost simmering. Make sure you don't boil the milk.
  • Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla and pumpkin pie spice until well combined.
  • Make coffee and pour it into a large mug. Add the pumpkin spice milk to your coffee and mix.
  • Optional - Steam and froth a few ounces of milk and spoon milk froth onto the top of the drink. Top with whipped cream and pumpkin pie spice.
