Ingredients

  • 1 (15 ounce) can garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 cup all-natural creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to the bowl of a food processor and pulse until smooth (scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed). If the dough forms a ball rather than a smooth hummus, add 2 tablespoons of milk (dairy or non-dairy) and pulse it again.
  • Once the hummus is smooth, serve it with fruit, pretzels, or graham crackers.
  • Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
