Chocolate Pecan Pie Bars
A shortbread crust topped with a chewy pecan and chocolate filling make these delicious Chocolate Pecan Pie Bars the perfect dessert recipe!
Shortbread Crust:
- 1/2 cup butter softened
- 1/4 cup brown sugar packed
- 1 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Filling
- 2 Tbsp butter melted
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 cups pecans chopped
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350F. Line a 9x13 inch pan with foil and spray with nonstick cooking spray.
Mix softened butter, brown sugar, salt and flour in medium bowl. Spread in prepared pan for crust. Bake for 25 minutes until golden. Let cool for 10 minutes.
In medium bowl, beat eggs, sugar, melted butter, corn syrup and honey. Fold in pecans and chocolate chips. Pour over warm crust and spread evenly. Bake for 30 minutes.
Cool completely before cutting.
