Easter Rice Krispie Treat Bars
A delicious Easter Treat for your PEEPS! These delicious Easter Rice Krispie Treat Bars take Rice Krispie Treats to a whole new level. Add chocolate icing and marshmallow PEEPS for a festive treat everyone will love.
Servings: 12 Bars
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons butter 1/2 stick
- 1 10 oz. bag mini marshmallows
- 6 cups rice cereal
- 2 cups of Chocolate Icing
- Marshmallows PEEPS
Instructions
Prepare Rice Krispie Treats:
- Melt butter in large saucepan on low heat. Add marshmallows and cook until marshmallows are completely melted; stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
- Add cereal. Mix well.
- Press onto bottom of 13x9-inch pan sprayed with cooking spray. Cool completely.
- Cut Rice Krispie Treats into bars. Make sure they are a little bigger than the length and width of a PEEP.
- Spread icing onto each Rice Krispie Treat.
- Add one PEEP to each bar. Sprinkle rainbow sprinkles around PEEP.
Notes
These Easter Rice Krispie Bars can be made ahead of time. Store in airtight container.
