Ranch Spinach Dip - An easy, make-ahead appetizer that's full of flavor!

This Ranch Spinach Dip is a delicious appetizer that comes together quickly and is made ahead of time making it the perfect recipe for parties, get-togethers, and barbecues.


  • 1 container (16 ounces) sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1 packet Ranch seasoning mix or 3 tablespoons Ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 package (10 ounces) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and well-drained
  • 1 can (8 ounces) water chestnuts, drained and chopped
  • 1 round loaf French bread, vegetables, and/or crackers for dipping


  1. In a large bowl, mix sour cream (or Greek yogurt) together with Ranch seasoning until well-blended.  Slowly stir in spinach and water chestnuts. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
  2. If serving in bread bowl, cut the top off the bread, remove center and cut into cubes. Fill bread bowl with dip. Serve with cubed bread and vegetables
  3. If not using a bread bowl, add dip to serving bowl and serve with vegetables, bread, and/or crackers.
