A delicious Easter Treat for your PEEPS!  These delicious Easter Rice Krispie Treat Bars take Rice Krispie Treats to a whole new level.  Add chocolate icing and marshmallow PEEPS  for a festive treat everyone will love.

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons butter (1/2 stick)
  • 1 (10 oz. bag) mini marshmallows
  • 6 cups rice cereal
  • 2 cups of Chocolate Icing
  • Marshmallows PEEPS

Instructions

Prepare Rice Krispie Treats:

  1. Melt butter in large saucepan on low heat.  Add marshmallows and cook until marshmallows are completely melted; stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
  2. Add cereal. Mix well.
  3. Press onto bottom of 13×9-inch pan sprayed with cooking spray. Cool completely.
  4. Cut Rice Krispie Treats into bars.  Make sure they are a little bigger than the length and width of a PEEP.
  5. Spread icing onto each Rice Krispie Treat.
  6. Add one PEEP to each bar.  Sprinkle rainbow sprinkles around PEEP.

Notes

These Easter Rice Krispie Bars can be made ahead of time.  Store in airtight container.
