All I’m going to say is chocolate cocktails are amazing!  I can’t believe this is my first time combining chocolate liquor with champagne.  I mean – it only makes sense that two of my favorite things could be combined into one delicious cocktail.  Add strawberries and it’s the perfect Valentine’s Day cocktail.

Chocolate Covered Strawberry Champagne Cocktail

Want to make this delicious cocktail?  Of course you do!  All you need are a few ingredients – strawberries, chocolate liquor like chocolate vodka, and champagne.  Start by using a blender to puree the strawberries with the chocolate liquor.  Then just fill your champagne flutes with the strawberry chocolate puree and champagne.  How easy was that?  And, doesn’t it sound delicious?!

Chocolate Covered Strawberry Champagne Cocktail

Ingredients
  

  • 10 strawberries hulled and cut in half
  • 1 cup chocolate vodka or liquor
  • Champagne or sparkling wine
  • Chocolate chips and Valentine's Day sprinkles optional

Instructions
 

  • Melt 1/2 cup chocolate chips in microwave. Add about 1/2 cup of sprinkles to a separate bowl.  Gently twist the rim of your champagne flutes in the chocolate and then twist rim in bowl of sprinkles.  Set aside to let chocolate set.
  • In a blender, puree strawberries and chocolate liquor until well combined.
  • Fill champagne glasses about 1/2 way with strawberry chocolate puree.  Fill the rest of the glass with champagne.
