I’ve become a little obsessed with FrogTape®!  I love this stuff and it makes me want to paint stripes on everything!

Today I’m going to share how I added a little color to a boring planter.  I found the gray planter on clearance and couldn’t resist buying it.  Before I added the flowers, I decided that it needed a little makeover.

My deck is lacking color at the moment so I used FrogTape® Textured Tape to add a few simple stripes to my new planter.  And when I say simple, I mean simple!  FrogTape® helps make painting stripes, lines, corners, edges, etc. a breeze; which is great when you are a perfectionist like me.

All I needed to complete this project was a planter, turquoise paint and some FrogtTape® Textured Tape.  The key to this product is the Paintblock Edge Sealer which does exactly what it says.  It seals the edges of the tape so that paint will not get behind any of the tape.

Now, on to this easy FrogTape how-to:

Step 1:  Add tape to your surface.

Step 2:  Take a damp spong and dampen the edges of the FrogTape.  Then apply the Liquid Paint Block Edge Sealer to the edges of the tape.  Since this is a textured surface, this step is extremely important.

Step 3:  Once the sealer is dry, paint your stripes.

Step 4:  Remove tape.  Then step back and admire those crisp, clean lines!

How easy was that?  It took me longer to decide which flowers I should plant in the planter than it did to paint the stripes.
